Hi folks,

In an attempt to prevent spam and clean up the site, some new rules have gone into affect.  They have been posted in the User Agreement shown during registration, but I show them here as well.

Here are the additions to the User Agreement:

Attention:  due to the high number of spammers coming from such accounts, NO ACCOUNT USING A .RU, .RO, .LV, or .PK E-MAIL ADDRESS, OR BEING ACCESSED VIA A .RU, .RO, .LV, ukrtel.net, .PK NETWORK,  or OTHER KNOWN SPAMMER HOST WILL BE ALLOWED.  In addition, any username or e-mail address deemed to be made up of random letters or numbers, or using spamming related terms (such as "buyviagranow@....." will not be approved.  Those attempting to register using any of the above banned items will not be informed prior to being banned, other than with the chance to read this agreement before registering.

(Not a spammer?  Not using anything but your usual e-mail address to register? Then you have nothing to worry about.)

Users who register on Traproom.com but fail to activate their account within 14 days of being approved will have their accounts deleted.

This also means that all users to date that have not activated their accounts (meaning, never activated or logged in) will have those Traproom.com accounts deleted in about 2 weeks.  Those of you that have logged in (which you would have done if you ever posted anything or were able to view Rants and Raves) will not be affected.  I have already removed all unactivated accounts older than 1 year.
